Generally speaking, perceived reality is just as important as absolute reality. Whether we are aware of something or not, doesn't make it any less real, and sometimes, we are aware of things which we think are real, but really aren't.

I recently "inherited" a website that had over 1,500 pages to it. Almost every page was done with Microsoft Frontpage, Dreamweaver and believe it or not, Microsoft Word. There was no consistency and nothing was modular about it, which makes site-wide changes rather difficult.
With other sites, I didn't have to worry much about 301 Redirects when I had clean URLs going on. But when I started working with two Drupal paths, and both had Clean URLs (a.k.a. SEO Friendly URLs), I ran into a strange issue. So here is how I solved it.
One of the things that site visitors dislike is waiting for a web page to load. As successful business owners, we know this on both sides of the coin. We know this from the perspective of losing a sale, because the user left our site, and we know this from the perspective of the customer, who left a site because it loaded too slowly.
